Our eighth annual soirée relocates in 2019 to the Dream Hotel in midtown, for a relaxed evening at The PHD Terrace, where we invite our younger globally-oriented members to come and wind down after work and network with like-minded others.
PHD Terrace is the perfect place for a lowkey Monday night hangout, for enjoying some smooth cocktails and delectable platters, chill out sounds for relaxing, and some quality time with UNA-NYC colleagues — to catch up, do a bit of networking, and sharing some perspectives on what life looks like from more informed, global viewpoints.
As the United Nations Association's host chapter, UNA-NYC is dedicated to raising public awareness of the UN and its goals. As such, our midsummer event is intended as a fun and sophisticated networking social for all new and youthful members to meet some of those who have already been around the UNA-NYC tableau for a while.
We delight in bringing together some of New York's exciting, young individuals who are interested in advancing the conversations surrounding the critical issues that challenge the UN international community, and we want our newer members to feel they are part of a bigger picture by creating a space for them to meet people with similar interests.
And so, with the summer heat back again, who can resist an opportunity for a Monday night chill out with UNA friends? We warmly invite our current NYC chapter members to a more relaxed edition of the Summer Soirée for 2019 — and please bring your non-member friends as guests!
