It's that time of year once again! The energetic and globally-minded members of UNA-NYC are getting together once more to celebrate the United Nations Association of New York's Summer Soirée 2017!
However, this year the August 9th soirée is getting a deluxe upgrade — to the elegant Ascent Lounge, one of the newest spaces in one of New York's most iconic locations in Columbus Circle, the Time Warner Center.
Ascent Lounge offers an elevated nightlife with stunning city views, premium cocktails and cuisine, and exceptional service in an elegant, contemporary design setting which appeals to a wide audience and guarantees a memorable evening. And once again, the music will be spun by the fabulous DJ Supra!
As the host chapter to the United Nations Association, UNA-NYC is dedicated to raising public awareness of the UN and its goals. As such, our midsummer event is intended as a fun and sophisticated networking/social affair for all new and prospective members to meet some of those who have already been around the UNA-NYC tableau for a while.
We delight in bringing together some of New York's exciting, young individuals who are interested in advancing the conversations surrounding the critical issues that confront the UN international community, and we want our newer members to feel they are part of a bigger global picture by creating a venue for them to meet people with the same interests.
And so, with the summer heat on, who can resist an extravagant, cool night out? We warmly invite all current UNA-NYC members to our sixth Summer Soirée — and please bring your non-member friends as guests!
