UNA-NYC Presents FilmTalk on “20 Days in Mariupol”

On June 11, 2024, the New York Chapter of the United Nations Association (UNA-NYC) hosted a special screening of and discussion on the award-winning documentary 20 Days in Mariupol. The event took place at the Ukrainian Institute of America, which featured a screening of the film followed by a conversation with Ambassador Sergiy Kyslytsya, Ukraine’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, and Edith M. Lederer, a former AP correspondent for the UN. The documentary, by journalist Mstyslav Chernov, chronicles the harrowing experiences during the Russian siege of Mariupol in 2022.
